Interacting With My Guides
It is always interesting to see when and how my spirit guides will pop into my life. The most enthusiastic visitors are often my animal spirit guides. It is often in moments when I need a good laugh or am beginning to let my own overwhelming feelings get the better of me that these energetic helpers pop in to say "Hi!".
There is an unlimited number of ways that we can be visited by our guides and it depends on how receptive we are to their energy as to whether we will notice their presence. Below are some of the spirits that I have had the pleasure of working with and a little glimpse into the way that they have chosen to present themselves.
This is no way invalidates anyone else's way of connecting with their guides, there is no right or wrong way to talk with your spirit team. There is only what works best for you and what doesn't. Sometimes learning about how others do things can simply open doors to new ideas and inspire others to think in a different way then they usually would.
Animal Guides
Alexei - The Wolf
The first time I met Alexei; one of my two main spirit animal guides was when I was doing a guided mediation to meet a guide. He in fact wasn't the one I was meant to meet but is a "Guardian Spirit" as I call him. This was one of the first meditations that I had ever done and I didn't exactly know what to expect. I was just learning about all this metaphysical type stuff and didn't really have anyone close to me who knew of these things so I was to learning through trial and error. I managed to get through the meditation with Alexei quietly following me through and I didn't really know why he was there or what his purpose was. It wasn't until much later on that I learnt his name. "Guardian Spirit" is the term I have come to use to refer to the role he plays in my spirit team. Alexei appears before me and follows along with me whenever I do any kind of shamanic type work, meditation or astral journeying. His energy is there for both protection and guidance. His message for me has been "Fearlessness". In a way it has helped me to face the challenges and experiences more openly.

Sabina - The Tiger
I met Sabina for the first time was during the same meditation that I met Alexei. My first meditation was to connect with the animal whose energy closest resonated with my personality for this incarnation. Following along the spirit path with Alexei quietly on my heels I found myself at a huge bonfire. In the mediation I sat down beside this fire and connected with my heart centre. When directed I looked up to see two golden eyes staring at me from inside the flames. After a few moments a beautiful tiger stepped out of the fire and sat before me. It was nice to be able to interact with her and talk to her until the mediation directed us both to return. Sabina has been a big part of my life since that first meeting. Connecting with her energy brings the message of "Courage" to me and helps me to focus on the things that I might otherwise avoid to the detriment of my spiritual development. Her energy is part of a pair with Alexei, that encourages and aids me in being more open to experiences and getting out of my comfort zone.

I first met Aiko; I was doing a repeat of my Angelic Reiki classes to refresh my skills before joining the next level. Throughout the months that followed the class I became aware of a past life connection I had to one of the other members in the class. It was through the presence of Aiko that I was able to track down and heal the connection I had. This released the energy blockages that had carried over into this life. Most times I feel Aiko's energy as a normal fox guide but she can sometimes come through in her Kitsune form as well. Her message for me has been "Self-love" this is because in my previous life I allowed myself to be blinded to the good things that could and would have happened to me. Simply put in that life I allowed myself to be manipulated by the person I loved believing they loved me back despite what the others around me were saying. She brought me the lesson of loving myself for who I am at the present and not changing or allowing other people to change me to fit their own agenda. I now believe that I am who I am for a reason and that the people who need my help will find me and the people that try to negatively attack me for who I am simply need to address that issue with themselves and not me. Aiko mainly comes forward now in times when I need to just sit back and watch. To remind me to be observant and careful about how I use my energy and not allow myself to be blindly drawn into the drama of others.
Frodicus - Frog
Transformation, rebirth, emotional release
This friendly spirit guide popped into my energy when I was talking with a friend about a past life connection we have together. We were sharing details about what we could remember from our meditation. Somehow the conversation moved towards his presence and I mentioned that his energy was present but that I didn't know what his name was. Just for giggles my friend said "wouldn't it be funny if his name was Frodicus and he's connected to your roman past life." getting that strange feeling that it rang with a little truth we decided to use the pendulum to ask. Turns out his name was "Frodicus" but he wasn't a connection to that particular past life. I find Frodicus regularly pops in to join the chorus of rain calls with the local frog in our drain pipe, whenever we are going to have a big downpour. His lesson for me is "Emotional Release" whenever he visits it is usually at a point where I am clearing out old emotions ready to move into a new belief, perspective or challenge.
Brush - Kookaburra
Cheekiness, joy, healing ability, optimism
"Life can be critical but never serious."
When I get so caught up in my to do list that I forget to slow down and appreciate life. Brush often visits. I will usually hear him before I see one of his friends. He has the uncanny ability to just sit on the fence where I can see him from my office and stare at me. The funniest part is that he won't make a sound until I'm getting so frustrated with whatever it is I'm working on and then suddenly I'm pulled out of the frustration by the sound of his laughing call. The moment I look out the window at him he stops and goes dead silent again staring at me. You would think by now that I would take his appearance on the fence as a warning that I am getting to deep into my own frustration and I need to take a break and regroup but I'm yet to acknowledge a visit before having a frustrating breakdown. Brush likes to come and help but it's not his fault if I choose not to see the wisdom behind his visits until things blow up in my face. His message for me is simply "laugh at life" I haven't grasped the exercution of this lesson as well as I have the lessons from other guides but I do occasionally have my moments.
Cat Spirit
Exploring the unknown, mysticism, patience
I have had cats in my life for as long as I can remember. The first pet that I could ever exclusively call my own was a cat. They have the amazing power of transmuting negative energy. So, when they choose a spot to settle down and sleep, it is usually where the negative energy has gathered and they are there to transmute it. It was a long time before I was aware of this particular habit of cats but I am always grateful for their service as negative energy can affect us even if we don't think it does. It can be draining. Even when I moved in with my partner we weren't without a cat's presence for very long. Ironic because he isn't a cat person and I'm not a dog person and we now have both. The most amazing thing is that our two current cats are the polar opposite of each other and their personalities mirror both me and my partner but they do not resonate with the person that is similar in energy to them. They say that a cat will gain weight with the more negative energy that it transmutes, this seemed to display with our cats who are brother and sister. The one that enjoyed being inside began to gain weight where as the one that enjoyed sitting outside the house didn't. I have become more aware with the energy within our house and regularly clear out the negative energy myself as well. This has resulted in our inside cat beginning to venture into the outdoors to laze in the sunshine and she has begun to lose weight.
Flitter - Butterfly
Evolution, soul journey, self-reflection
This spirit most often pops in mainly to let me know that one of my ancestors in spirit is with me. But on occasions it has meant that I am working on something that requires me to sit and do a little self-reflection on why I react the way I do in certain situations.
Ego - Border Collie
Bravery, protectiveness, righteousness
"Tempered strength & obedience"
I first met this beautiful little border collie as I was doing a psychic exercise from Sonia Choquette's book "Trust Your Vibes: Revised Edition" The exercise asks that you imagine what your higher self and what your ego or "barking dog" as Sonia calls it look like. I had already met the spirit that is my higher self in a previous Angelic Reiki training exercise so I focused my attention on the Ego side of things. The first image that popped into my mind was a beautiful black and white border collie dog sitting still and looking right at me. So, I knew that this is what my ego looked like. The second thought in my head was "wow aren't you well behaved?" It took me a good while and I mean days to at least two weeks for me to piece it together and realise that the comment about behaviour wasn't random. If you had asked me what my ego looked like years ago, I could bet my life with almost 100% certainty that the dog it showed would not have been quite as well behaved. It wasn't until a few weeks later when I was looking up the symbolism for one of the other guides that had popped in that I came across the symbolism for border collie and out of curiosity, and a little bit of spirit nudging. I decided what the hey I'll see what it's says. Low and behold the first line in bold that caught my eye was "Tempered strength and Obedience" This was funny because Sonia spoke about a quote that said "The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant." rational mind referring to our Ego and it made senses because the ego serves the spirit faithfully protecting us as our spirit leads the way. This is because the higher self can tap into the multi-faceted plan created by spirit. Where our ego can only see as far as its experiences allow, limiting its vision to repeating scenarios you have already experienced. So now whenever I check in with my ego and my higher self, seeing a well-behaved border collie lets me know that I am working with my higher self instead of ignoring it.
Wallaby Spirit
Forgiveness, nocturnal, female space
"Stop looking at the problem and get over it."
This spirit came bounding into my life at a time when I was struggling to make a decision about what path was best. I had chosen to venture out and begin building my little business by renting a shop. This was all working fine until an unexpected curveball was thrown our way and we found ourselves having to find alternative plans to things that we thought would be concrete. The problem being that I knew what I needed to do but was resisting with the utmost effort I could muster. Every day on the way to work I would see one of these creatures on the side of the road somewhere. Never once did they jump in front of my car they simply sat on the side of the road and watched. I would hear stories about others and seeing wallabies or see a picture or reference to them somewhere random. Finally, it got the best of me and I asked what it is that I needed "Wallaby" to help me with. His message was simple. "Stop looking at the problem and just get over it!" Wallabies and kangaroos can't hop backwards so part of their message is to face your challenges and keep moving forwards. We take the lessons that we need from our past experiences but we keep moving forward so as not to get bogged down by any negativity.
Seahorse Spirit
Perspective, protection, persistence
"Look at the big picture & the roles we play that define us"
This amazingly calm little creature is a spirit that came to visit but doesn't connect directly to me so at present I do not know his name. He interacts with one of my children and popped in one day after I found myself thinking about how we often have similar traits to the guides we are working on. The animal guides for my immediate family have all come to say hello at one time or another. At least until he popped up. The main animal guide type in our house is the big cat family. It was out of curiosity that one day I wondered what type of guide the last member of my family had. I was surprised when a small and very determine looking seahorse popped into my mind's eye. I asked it a couple of questions just to confirm that it had responded to my question and once confirmed he disappeared. Looking up the attribute for Seahorse, I found that it indeed resonated with the one member I had been enquiring about.
Killarni - Unicorn
Inner power, soul purpose, magic within
The first time I met Killarni was while I was doing a meditation from a new book I was reading. The book "The Magic of Unicorns" By Diana Cooper was a beautiful simple and enlightening book. After doing the meditation to attune to the energy of the unicorns I went into meditation and was visited by a beautiful white unicorn. It was a very calming experience and left me feeling lighter and inspired after getting to know her a little.
Killian - Unicorn
Inner power, soul purpose, magic within
I met Killian after I read a little further through Diana's book after meeting Killarni. Further through there is a meditation where you heal ancestral beliefs and issues. To begin with when I started the meditation the unicorn, I met was again Killarni. Being the first time, I had done this meditation I didn't know what to expect however further along through the mediation when we reached the mountain section I turned and noticed that Killarni was no longer there. In her place was another unicorn, he was black and red. Although he looked very intimidating the energy that I received from him was very supportive and determined. He continued beside me for the rest of the meditation and it was only after finishing that I got the chance to talk to him. Learning that he was in fact a different unicorn. I did not get his name at this first meeting and it wasn't until a week or so later when I was talking to a friend about a series, we were watching that a name jumped out at me. hours after the conversation the name was still playing over in my head when I noticed a unicorn statue on my shelf and it clicked. I asked if "Killian" was his name and got "about time, took you long enough" in response.
"Bee Yourself" - Bee
Potential, team work, celebrate life
"Make the most of each and every opportunity"
The first time I met "Bee Yourself" I was sitting down doing some drawing practise. I hadn't the faintest idea what I was going to draw until I started drawing it. It ended up being a cute, slightly realistic drawing of a bee. The image of which I still have in one of my books today. I didn't know her name until a few years after. She would simply come in and out at times when I was struggling with something alone and needed to suck it up and ask for help. Years later while doing a craft activity making little bee shapes, I asked my daughter what she was going to name her first little bee and she said "you know mum." I looked at her confused and said "I don't know honey it's your bee, what are you going to call it." she looks back at her next bee that she was putting together and says without hesitation "Be yourself." I admit it took me a good minute or two for me to join the dots before a smug looking little bee spirit appeared on the table beside the craft bee and simply looked at me. There were many times over the years that I could have understood her name as it is also a line from one of my favourite Disney movies "Aladdin" where Genie is telling Al to "Be yourself" as he flies around in the guides of a Bee. Spirit is funny in hindsight like that.
Black Panther
Power, reclaiming power, grace
I do not know the name of this spirit as again this one is not directly connected to me. I first met this sleek looking panther as I was sitting in the lounge room. I was watching a TV series with my partner while completing my teacher's aide course assessments. At the time the lounge I was sitting on was beside the door into the room and my partner was sitting on a lounge that was against the wall on the right-hand side of the room. As I was typing on my laptop, I noticed something move out of the corner of my eye. Thinking it was the mouse we were trying to evict from our house I turned my attention to see what it was. I was a little taken aback as it wasn't a mouse at all it was a sleek black panther that looked as solid as the lounge I was sitting on. I watched stunned as it walked straight past my side, turned right at the end of my recliner and moved to lay down along the end of the lounge beside my partner, right beneath where his hand was hanging over the lounge. It disappeared from physical sight once it was comfortable on the floor. I must have looked as stunned as I felt because my partner looked up and asked me what was wrong. With a little chuckle I returned to my laptop and told him everything was fine. This was the first time I had ever seen a spirit guide with my physical sight and not just my inner sight.
Tarmarken - Lion
Strength, Integrity, Loyalty
"Thoughts & actions need to resonate with values not greed"
Tarmarken often pops up in my energy when I am trying to do something new that is often outside of my comfort zone like choosing to put myself out there and start a business which was a really big challenge for me. His energy not only helps me to take on new things but it helps to remind me that I need to be who I am and not fall every time someone disagrees with me or tells me I should be something else. I find that he most often pops in at times when Sabina is also around. It can be very reassuring to have different guides come in and out when necessary. Sometimes I am aware enough to know that I have either over done it or am underdoing it with certain attributes they present. other times I feel like screaming in frustration when they pop up and simply sit there waiting for me to get the hint.
Tan - Orangutan
Connection to nature, express emotions, unspoken communication
"Communication is clearer through actions then words"
I became aware of Tan's presence the day after having an argument with my partner. It had brought up a lot of emotions and I wasn't feeling as though I could completely forgive the things that had been said. I could see that my partner regretted what he had said but it made me realise the way the dice had fallen. It gave me a lot to think about in regards to our communication styles. I prefer to talk things out, I plan ahead and if the plans involve someone else, I want them to be able to have a say. This can be hard when my partner's communication style doesn't involve talking about feelings or planning ahead much. I was at a point where I didn't know what else to do, I do the majority of the planning for myself and the little ones and my partner for the most part fits in around what's planned but the times when he either forgets or chooses not to communicate what's going to happen was starting to rub me the wrong way. As anyone who knows me will know am a creature of habit and if I have to make plans for something I like a little time to plan ahead as throwing me in the deep end at the last-minute results in a very aggressive and scatterbrained participant. As I was sitting on the couch stewing in frustration I felt a presence beside me. It's calming energy helped me to take the edge off the frustration and breathe enough to turn my attention to something else. It was only while waiting for the kettle to boil later that afternoon that I actually decided to tap in and ask who the energy was. Resulting in connecting with the spirit of a beautifully calm Orangutan named Tan. She has since been helping me to connect with my family through unspoken communication methods and expressing my emotions in a more productive way.
Chuckles - Wombat
Trust, Renewal, Safety
"We plan, God Laughs"
I wasn't originally aware of this spirit guide until it was pointed out by a friend. After sitting with the energy and trying to connect I finally manage to feel a presence. The first impression I got was that of a wombat walking towards its burrow having a laugh. When I asked what it's name was I got the word "Chuckles", I got the impression that it was laughing at my resistance and desire to know what was coming in life. When I asked what it name meant, the reply I got was "We plan, God laughs." I asked why it was with me and got what felt like a few disjointed messages: - business energy - learn to "dig deep" - tough backside "be immune to back stabbing" - Trust in being safe with spirit (like a wombat trusts it's burrow to keep it safe from fires) - Trust in the process of renewal, let go of things that aren't working so they can change and begin working again. When I finished communicating with Chuckles, I put my notepad down and got on with my day. It was only later after I got a phone call letting me know that the space I currently rent for my shop will soon be sold and I'll need to start looking for a new space did it really click as to why Chuckles was around. So as hard as it is for me, someone who really likes to know ahead of time what's happening. I'm going to have to listen to the furry wombat and trust that my shop space will land where it is most needed in the way that is for the highest good of all according to Spirit.
Razor - Black Bear
Strength, Power, Healing
"Remember your own inner power and courage to push through obstacles"
I first met Razor when I was talking to a client after her Integrated Healing session. She was half way through a sentence when she said there’s something out there. Indicating to the kitchen area of the shop. I don’t normally leave the door to the kitchen area opened so I was a little surprised. Knowing there was no way that anyone could get into the kitchen area without having to have gone past us to begin with and that everyone who had previously been in the shop had left I knew that she was talking about a spirit so I tapped in and asked “Person or animal”, got the reply “Animal” so I asked “What are you?” and received the image of a huge black bear standing in the middle of the kitchen area like it was looking around then the communication shut off with the feeling of “You’re busy, I won’t interrupt”, which was fine as I was still in the middle of the conversation with my client. When my client had left, I didn’t think to reengage with the bear spirit as I was rushed into the list of other things needing to be done that day. A couple of days later when I was looking for the title of a book that someone had asked about, I felt the presence of the bear again, I got the image of it looking over my shoulder at the book. I decided to take the time and talk with it, asking simple yes and no questions to know more about it. I was given the image of a close up of the bears nose and how the pattern changed from black fur to brown around its muzzle. Then when I asked its name, I got the word “Razor” after hearing it’s name, I was given a close up of the bear’s face. I could see the brown muzzle and black fur but it also had a scar near it’s left eye which was white from blindness. When I asked what it’s purpose was, I got the words, “Protection” and “Gatekeeper” which to me means he is the spirit that controls who can and can’t come forward when I’m doing mediumship readings which is comforting as I hadn’t previously known anything about him only that his presence was there in the background. He tells me that he stepped forward after a recently connected with my maternal grandmother through a medium and worked through the issues I was holding on to about things that happened as a kid and how our perspectives differed. It was a challenging experience for the medium as it was not something that I had wanted to deal with at the time but am glad that we are now on the same page and can continue without those issues holding our spirits back. I know everything is settled between us as the necklace that I was given that belonged to my grandmother which I had given up on ever being able to find again over 8 years ago has appeared again and I know that is her way of letting me know that things have been settled and I can now hold onto the important memories and not the challenging issues. Razor is here to help me continue to work on my own spiritual gifts and strengthen my mediumship. His presence is sturdy and reassuring and I am looking forward to working with him more.
Angels
Guardian Angels:
Male: Micah - Pronounced: (Mike-ah)
Female: Micah- Pronounced: (Mee-Kah)
It took me a really long time to work out the information about my guardian angels. I believe everyone has three guardian angels. They don't always step forward for acknowledgment but they are there. I know I have three but have only ever been able to interact with two of the three. This became very difficult at one point when I was learning about them for the first time. I had asked to only speak with one angel at a time. That was fine, but as we all know you never really get to finish things when you want to sometimes you have to come back to them. As you can imagine this happened a couple of times. Using a pendulum, I could narrow down the spelling to get a written word for at the time what I assumed was the name of one angel. However, when I tried to confirm details like pronunciation or type of energy it would change between yes or no and male or female. I felt as though I was going completely loony until one day someone said "if you have three angels how do you specify which one you're talking to without names?" This got me thinking on that so I decided to be more specific with my intentions and until I had names, I called them angel 1 2 or 3. Well three was easy, they did not want to be identified, or known so I left that alone. I was still getting frustrated with the fact that two different energies kept spelling the same name with the pendulum. It wasn't until I was reading something and heard someone pronounce the word "Micah" differently to the way I had ever heard it said. Then it clicked the words were Homophones. Spelt the same but pronounced differently. That little lightbulb moment made it so much easier to get my head around the answers I was receiving. Looking back all the questions I asked received the correct answer, I just wasn't asking the right questions. Since then, I have been able to talk to and distinguish both of my guardian angels easily.
Archangel Michael
Protection, guidance, electronics
"Angel of Protection"
The first time I experienced the energy of Archangel Michael was during a meditation in my first Angelic reiki class. During the meditation we were to meet the angel that was to be our Healing angel, the one we would connect with to bring through the healing energy. When the mediation was over and we were asked to share anything, we received if we choose, I was a little hesitant. I didn't really believe that this amazing archangel had chosen to help me with my healing work. I was going to keep this to myself when our instructor looked at me and said "go with the first thing you got" So I said "Well I received Archangel Michael, but that can't be right." "Why not?" "Well, I guess I only got it because he's the only angel I know." She smiled and said "Doesn't mean it's wrong." So, from that moment on I embraced working with Archangel Michael in my healing work. It is also interesting to note that you can call on Archangel Michael if you are having trouble with your computer and other electronics. I find that if my internet is playing up or my computer isn't working right asking him for a little help seems to make things go a lot smoother. On the other hand, when I know that I am procrastinating on something that I need to be doing, he is often the one that puts a "gremlin in the system" so nothing goes right in my procrastination until my important job is done.
Archangel Gabriel
Communication, clarity & meaning of messages
"Angel of Revelation"
I usually call upon Archangel Gabriel to help me when I am feeling flat in regards to creativity, working with this angel often inspires me to use my creativity. Most often when I need to take time out for self-care but don't know what I want to spend my down time doing.
Archangel Raphael
Peace, healing, emotions
"Angel of Healing"
Archangel Raphael is the angel I usually call upon when I am sending healing energy to someone or to my pets when I need to. Most often I have the person's permission. If I am unable to ask permission, I simply send the energy in a reiki ball for their higher self to claim, should they wish to in accordance with the highest good of all involved. If not, it is grounded out through someone else that needs the energy.
Archangel Uriel
Truth, wisdom, faith
"Angel of Prophecy & Wisdom"
Archangel Uriel's energy is very bright and vibrant like the sun, I haven't worked with him on anything specific but have felt his energy when calling him in for the Psychic protection.
Archangel Metatron
Balance, children, spiritual development
"Angel of Empowerment"
Archangel Metatron has many aspects to him when working with people however, I mostly feel his presence when working with anything that has to do with children.
Archangel Sandalphon
Wishes, grounding, being present
"Angel of Music"
I have not worked much with Archangel Sandalphon and have only ever invoked this angel for assistance with Psychic protection where an Archangel is called to protect from each direction. I look forward to learning more and working more with this Angel
Archangel Chamuel
Relationships, forgiveness, lost things
"Angel of Love"
Archangel Chamuel was one of the first angels that I experienced by actively invoking her. To many she is known as the Angel of Love but she also has the beautiful ability to help you find things when they are lost. Her ability to help find lost things was the reason I asked for her help in the first place. there is almost nothing more frustrating than knowing you put something down in the usual place and can't find it. Or put it away for safe keeping but can't remember where that safe space is. Through working with Archangel Chamuel, I have come to realise that sometimes when I lose something it is my own incompetence and other times it's because spirit has decided I am just not meant to find it at the time I want to. Divine timing, you gotta love it. If it is my own incompetence, often when I call upon Archangel Chamuel, I can find it with her assistance. However, if it is a case of Divine timing no matter how much I call upon this beautiful angel, there is no way I am going to find whatever it is until I need to find it instead of want to find it. This is because we often can't see the big picture and as a messenger of God Chamuel can help when asked but she cannot go against the Will of God. This has been a lesson that I am still slowly learning. I'm better at it at certain times than others.
Archangel Raziel

"Angel of Mysteries"
Archangel Raziel pops up the most often as I feel his energy whenever I see a rainbow of any sort. His energy is often present whenever I am doing shadow work or just meditating on what I need to do next.
Archangel Raguel
Empathy, harmony, conflict resolution
"Angel of Justice"
It took me a very long time to put two and two together when this angel first arrived. I was going through a rough time, caught in a pretty intense argument, the subject of it being things I was choosing to do that someone close to me didn't feel they could accept. Archangel Raguel's energy was there and it was only looking back on the experience that I realise it was his cool, slightly frosty at the time energy that help me keep myself at least a little calm headed. It is exceedingly hard to accept that as much as you want to help the ones you love we have to let them make their own choices. It also means sometimes we have to make the hard decision to put distance between ourselves and someone we may love for our own good. This angel has helped me a great deal to understand that I can love someone, understand where they are coming from but also decide that I can't keep getting drawn up in the drama that comes with them. Learning to love them from a distance is necessary and doesn't diminish the loving energy in any way.
Archangel Ariel

I first met and learnt about Archangel Ariel when I was learning about the cards in my Tarot deck. As funny as it seems I just can't seem to integrate the meaning of the original Rider Waite Tarot deck, I can't connect to those images and have only been able to learn the tarot after getting the Angel Tarot and Archangel Power tarot by Radleigh Valentine. Archangel Ariel's energy came to me as I was doing a reading for myself with my Archangel Power Deck. She came through right before I pulled one of the cards to see what it was. Low and behold the card I pulled was "strength" and you guessed it the Angel on the card was Ariel, with the bonus of a beautiful lion spirit she brought with her.

"Angel of Death"
The first time I met Archangel Azrael I didn't know who he was at the time. I had gone to visit my great-grandmother when she was living in a nursing home. Not that I realised that this was to be the last time that I got to see her. When I arrived, I asked the nurses which room was hers and they gave me the number but before I could move the nurse said "If you can get her to have some water please try, she's been refusing all day." I promised to try but there was something in my heart that told me it probably wouldn't make a difference. I was devastated to see how fast she had deteriorated; she could no longer sit up and although her eyes told me she recognised me there wasn't much more of a response. I knew there wasn't much I could do so I offered the water like the nurse had asked and she took a couple of sips before she refused. I told her some stories about my nieces and nephews for a while before she began to look tired so I asked if it was ok for me to just hold her hand. As I sat beside her holding her hand, I decided to call in the angels of the four directions and asked that they sit with us to bring her some comfort and ease the pain. I felt the angels come in, after what felt like only minutes, I felt another two energies come in. Although I couldn't see anything in my mind, I knew it was my great grandad, as well as another angel. I felt her hand tightened for a moment on mine. When I looked at her face, I could see silent tears running down her cheek. All I could do was continued to hold her hand until she fell asleep. She passed away about a week later. It was years later when I was doing research into the different Archangels and was reading about Azrael that the familiar presence appeared again. It was then that I realised that he had been the one to arrive with my great grandfather.

I don't really remember the first time I encountered this angel as he usually pops in and out so quickly at times when I am working with other angels. However, one of the most memorable times was when I was talking with a group of friends. One lady was asking for advice about her current situations we were all discussing how things appeared from our own perspective. It was only later when I was driving home that this Angel popped in with a message for one of my friends. It took me a while to realise that the message wasn't for me but to pass on. As I don't usually like passing on messages to others outside of readings unless they have specifically asked, I decided it was better to write the message down and give it to her. That way she had the chance to read the message if it was what she wanted or toss it. Turns out that it was in fact a very welcome message and brought her a great deal of comfort.
Archangel Haniel

"Angel Of Joy"
I was led to work with Archangel Haniel after asking to work with Ascended Master Merlin in learning to manifest thing into reality. However, I wasn't ready so I was directed to work with Archangel Haniel. I wasn't sure exactly what I was meant to be learning with Haniel so to begin with I asked for help building upon my "clair" abilities or psychic senses. As I began to learn more about Haniel I began to realise that she was likely here to help me find my true purpose before I could work with Merlin. Why? because manifestation required focus and positive emotional energy to believe things into existence. What positive emotional energy is stronger than that of doing something you truly love and believe in.

I met Ascended Master Merlin briefly when I asked to work with him on my manifestation abilities. However, there was still work that I needed to do before I was ready to work with this master so he directed me to work with Archangel Haniel.

Hades
Releasing what no longer serves
Hades most often comes through when I am doing Angel Intuitive readings. His message is that of letting go of what no longer serves you. To me he represents the physical aspect of this whereas Persephone represent the mental aspect. So, whenever Hades visits, I know that myself or the client that I might be reading for is holding onto something to the detriment of their spiritual growth. Hades is usually depicted as greedy and wanting nothing more than to collect souls, but his energy has always been peaceful and giving whenever he visits. We all have things we hold onto at one point or another that can keep us at a standstill. We often feel that letting go of these things means the end. Hades helps me to let go of the things that are holding me from moving into a new version of myself, he helps me to discover what aspects of my life have become outdated and need to die so their energy can be reborn into something new.
Hera
Loyalty, commitment through relationship issues
Although Hera's energy represents the capacity to be committed, bonded, loyal, and to endure difficulties with a partner. Her peacock's energy symbolises self-love, honour, integrity and the importance of facing the challenges of life and the unknowable with courage, confidence and balance. Hera usually comes through with her peacock at times when I am struggling to be who I am at heart. When I have situations come up that make me wonder if I would be better off simply playing a part that other people want me to play and getting on with life. Their energy supports me in taking back my personal power and having confidence that I am who I need to be. This of course doesn't mean that I don't have shadow aspects that I'm working on but their energy helps to take away some of the negative self-talk that doesn't need to be weighing me down. Her energy is particularly helpful in relationship challenges.
Odin
Wisdom, mystic, knowledge, battle victory
I have only had fleeting glimpses of Odin's energy; he pops in and out occasionally depending on what past energies I have been exploring and how they may be coming into play in my present life situation. His energy for me is similar to that of the spirit animal hawk. Where the hawk draws my attention to the fine details of the physical world around me, Odin's energy often symbolises that there are finer details that I am not seeing in regards to more esoteric type matters or past energies.
Quan Yin
Mercy, Selflessness and Compassion

I have not worked directly with Quan Yin only on the occasions that she has come through to assist with the energy required for a reiki session. In those instances, I usually just get a name so that I can confirm the energy I am working with is her. What she comes through to help the client with is personal to them and I don't experience anything other than the flow of her energy.

Scarlett - Rose Fairy

When we moved into the house ,we are currently in there was two gardens out the front. One was a line of red rose bushes and the other had white roses. I'm not a huge gardener and not the best at keeping plants alive however these rose bushes had been there for many years and we had been told they were very sturdy. They got regular water from the sprinklers that did the lawns and through advice from a friend I did my best to prune them in an acceptable fashion. It still didn't surprise me but the only thing I seemed to be growing in abundance was the clover weed as one by one the rose bushes began to die. One day when I was sitting out on the front steps looking out at the clover weeds that were getting to be so big they were literally fighting each other for sunlight. I noticed that one of the two rose bushes left in the garden actually had flowers. It was as I was looking at this poor plant fighting the world for a place to thrive that I realised there was a fairy presence beside me. She was the one that was helping the last red rose bush to hold on. I had to laugh when she said her name was "Scarlett" as that was the colour of the rose's flowers.

I met Berri and Lilli a little while after meeting Scarlett. I was driving to my job as a teacher's aide when I felt this presence appear in my car. Focusing on my driving but also on the little energy that had appeared I realised that it wasn't just one but two. They hung around for the drive but suddenly disappeared when I arrived. After a long day at work as I was returning home the little balls of fairy energy returned again. This time they were a little more forthcoming with information and I got to know them a little bit. Berri was the younger of the two only a baby in terms of fairy age and Lilli was there to watch over him. Their message for me was that I could bring the joy and playfulness that my inner child needed into my life and still be there for my responsibilities.
Crystal Devas

I have been working with crystals for many years now through my work as an energy healer and long before as a child enchanted by their beauty. Most times I will feel an intuitive vibration that tells me what crystals are needed at a particular time. The intellectual side of my mind likes to understand why a particular crystal was used for my healing at the time. Sometimes I get the chance to research their attributes other times not so much. I have learnt to trust the energy of the crystals, that the little spirit within them will give a shout out when they're needed. Many people experience these devas in different ways, shapes and forms but they usually appear to me in the form of a little elemental created from that type of living crystal. I usually encounter these little beings with my psychic senses, most are quiet, they don't like to talk much simply doing their job and retreating once more. Occasionally I will get to experience the wonder of seeing a face form within the inside of a crystal in the physical form. The two that come to mind are a clear quartz a friend showed me and a piece of malachite that I picked up one day. It is fascinating to note that the crystal seems to change itself and that seeing a face one day might not be visible the next or even to the next person who handles the crystals.

Wren - Blue Avian
12th Dimensional Messenger of Unity Consciousness
To begin with I didn't know what a star being was. I had been told about the galactic energy type during my Angelic Reiki training. The energy sometimes being referred to as an E.T. At that point in time, I hadn't done enough inner work to be able to connect with a galactic being intentionally. Any attempts at connecting had resulted in an immediate headache. It seemed like more of a hassle than a help at the time. Later I heard the term "Star Being" but after learning that was another name for the galactic energy type. I'll admit I was prejudiced against looking into it further because of my previous interactions. I had experienced their energy on and off occasionally during reiki healings whenever a client needed their assistance but had never interacted with any personally. It took me a while to realise that the galactic energy I occasionally worked with was an aspect of working with Star Beings. As there are many types of Star Beings and I didn't know a lot about them to be able to distinguish them. It was only after I began learning light language with a beautiful soul who lives locally who helped me to activate my light language, that I realised how diverse the galactic energy I was working with could be. One day a few weeks after my activation I was driving home when I felt an energy pressing down on the top of my head. This is how my senses tell me that I am dealing with a Galactic energy or Star Being as I was beginning to understand. Of course, after being activated, I knew a little more about the different beings and was able to ask a few more questions. This led me to realise that I was talking to a Blue Avian star being. When I realised what type of being it was, I felt the energy slip down and perch on my right shoulder. Making my right ear feel as though there is something blocking the sounds from coming in and I could feel heat from its presence. I didn't really know a lot about Blue Avian's so I couldn't do much more than simply sit with the presence and ask basic questions. By the time I got home and the presence had left I knew that it was a least a female Blue Avian guide named Wren. I had tried to practise my Blue Avian Light language on the drive home but that had been met with some very loud and vocal protests from the back seat. I later came to realise after some research and meditation that the blue avian guide was there to help me with understanding the Unity Consciousness which is described in one way as " a level of vibration that goes beyond the self and reaches the heart and souls of all beings and existence" Of course, Wren is a 12th dimensional being and me still only resonating at 3 dimensional I have a lot to learn. So sometimes when I'm working with this beautiful guide, I can get a huge headache from pulling my vibration up enough that she can descend enough to connect with me.
Mystithos - Lyrian
Self-sufficient, independent, proud, strong willed
"Practise like you never won, play like you never lost"
I have yet to do much investigating into my connection to Mystithos my Lyrian guide but he is one of the one's that I have been able to witness in a physical capacity. On two separate occasions, at the time I get ready to head to bed, I usually stand in my loungeroom and plait my long hair. This is something I do every night; the lights are usually off aside from the glow of the TV. On two different nights while staring across the room at the TV without really thinking about anything this guide has come to visit. On the two occasions I have watched his shadow move across the room as if there is a physical being in the room, the same way someone blocks light when you are looking towards a light source and they moved between you and the light. You would think that this occurrence would have freaked me the hell out and usually it probably would but I had felt the presence of Mystithos before he arrived. I just didn't know what type of guide it was until I seen the silhouette in front of the TV. Instead of causing me to freak out, his presence gave me a sense of peace and protection. I have since connected with him during meditation and have learned that he is here to help me to learn to standing in my power and know that my personality isn't for everyone but it is for those who need it. He has been popping up at times when I feel as though my boundaries are being challenged and I need to take a deep breath and remember to take action instead of allowing the situation to trigger a reaction. This means that I am slowly learning to hold my boundaries instead of acting rashly and later realising I was being manipulated into something. The quote "When someone tries to trigger you by insulting your or doing something that irritates you, take a deep breath and turn off your ego. Remember that if you are easily offended you are easily manipulated" usually comes to mind when his energy is near. Sometimes I am self-aware enough to take the breath other times I am triggered and it is only later while talking with a friend that I will become aware of the trigger.
Solaris - Pleiadian

I haven't had the chance to work with Solaris much other than to ask her name and what she is here for. Having said that the current of change I am presently experiencing leads me to believe that I really need to make some time to work with her. Solaris is here to help me to work on my psychic gifts, these are things I rely on in both my readings and my healing work. Both of which I have been working towards strengthening this year. Her ability of manifestation would also be a helpful tool should I be able to carve out the time to work with her as I am currently working on find the right space for all the shop contents as we begin looking for a new location. It will be a good chance to see where things end up when the pieces finally fall back into place. I'm looking forward to seeing what positive changes come out of connecting with Solaris.
